What to Do When Your Child Bites Others
Biting can be connected to sensory needs, frustration, overwhelm, difficulty communicating, or a need for control. The immediate goal is safety, not punishment. After the moment has passed, look for patterns and teach safer ways to communicate, regulate, or get the sensory input they need.
