When Your Child Throws Things When Frustrated
Throwing can communicate many different things: overwhelm, frustration, sensory needs, wanting something to stop, or not yet having an easier way to express a need. Safety comes first, but the longer-term goal is to understand the pattern and teach a response the child can use instead.
